Avrile Sans is developed from the Noto Sans Display fonts. The first modifications are a non-descending uppercase 'J' by default, true tabular figures, and more uniform style data across all 18 weights.
It has 9 weights with matching italics. Also, it has a serif family, Avrile Serif.
The fonts Noto Sans and Droid Sans in this site are severely old, so I forked that family and posted it here.
